International taxpayers can now access multilingual tax consultation services, according to the 12366 Shanghai (International) Tax Service Center.

The 12366 tax service hotline was launched in 2016. The introduction of the multilingual and multichannel tax consultation service is yet another innovative response to the demands of cross-border taxpayers.

Following this upgrade, foreigners can now access tax consultations in eight languages - English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic, through various channels such as websites and mobile applications. 

This development marks a significant step forward in providing accessible and tailored tax services for international taxpayers in Shanghai.
