Archery World Cup (Shanghai)
The Archery World Cup, established by the World Archery Federation in 2006, made its debut in Shanghai that same year.

From 2009 to 2019, the tournament found its home in Pudong New Area, Shanghai for 11 consecutive years. After a brief hiatus, the event returned in 2023 and is set to continue in Pudong New Area from 2024 to 2027.
The Archery World Cup (Shanghai) features competitions in men's and women's recurve bow individual, men's and women's teams, and mixed teams, as well as compound bow men's and women's individual, men's and women's teams, and mixed teams, totaling 10 exhilarating competitions, each awarding a gold medal.
This top-tier archery event not only bears witness to the rapid growth of archery in the region but also serves as a significant platform for showcasing Shanghai's urban image and promoting its cultural heritage.
