Why not take them to an indoor exhibition to ignite their imagination? Here's a guide to some exhibitions.

 

Tatsuya Miyanishi's World of Wonders

When it comes to picture book masters, Tatsuya Miyanishi is a name not to be missed. Tatsuya Miyanishi's World of Wonders marks the 40th anniversary of the debut of his works and the 20th anniversary of the birth of the Tyrannosaurus series.

The exhibition showcases nearly 60 picture books, over 200 illustrations, and more than 100 characters from his picture books spread across 11 exhibition areas, totaling 1,500 square meters. It invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world of love, kindness, and humor.

The World of Peter Rabbit: A Timeless Adventure

The Tale of Peter Rabbit is a children's book written and illustrated by the internationally renowned children's author, Beatrix Potter. The World of Peter Rabbit: A Timeless Adventure is an exhibition that includes 13 picture book stories and 33 characters inspired by the adventurous stories of Peter Rabbit and his friends. 

The exhibition recreates scenes from the fairy tale and highlights Peter Rabbit's bravery and wit, allowing children and adults to immerse themselves in this relaxing fantasy land and inspiring their imagination.

HiShorts! Film Festival

The HiShorts! Film Festival selects a collection of classic animated works produced by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. This animation film festival features a variety of sections such as themed screenings, exhibitions, and forums.

The selected animation works cover the three major animation types: hand-drawn, paper-cut, and stop-motion. With both traditional and modern subjects, they draw inspiration from classical literature and folklore.

Tracing the Mystical Realm of Mountains and Seas

Tracing the Mystical Realm of Mountains and Seas is an immersive exhibition that uses modern light and shadow technology and a variety of artistic styles to present mythical stories and traditional culture from the Classic of Mountains and Seas

Children can participate in the storyline and experience adventure through the interactive mystery-solving plots.

Here, you will encounter many mythological characters: Jingwei, the girl who transforms into a bird and fills up the sea with twigs and stones, Kuafu, the giant who chases the sun, and Hou Yi, the archer who shoots down the suns.

Space Explorers: The Infinite

Space Explorers: The Infinite is based on the Emmy Award-winning immersive production Space Explorers: The ISS Experience. The exhibition provides nearly 60 minutes of immersive space exploration, allowing visitors to experience a full-scale replica of the International Space Station.

It recreates the daily life of astronauts aboard the space station, allowing you to experience life in space.
