The Great Art of Dunhuang exhibition in Shanghai's China Art Museum will be extended until Jan 3, 2025.

The exhibition highlights the art of the Mogao Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Dunhuang of Northwest China's Gansu province. It features a number of rare artifacts, including national treasures that are prohibited from leaving the country, as well as reproductions of classic caves, mural paintings and sculptures, giving visitors an immersive experience of Dunhuang right here in Shanghai.
