The Disappeared Pharaoh: An Immersive Exploration of Khufu Pyramid

Alongside the exhibition On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt at Shanghai Museum, the Disappeared Pharaoh: An Immersive Exploration of Khufu Pyramid exhibition is being presented at the People’s Square branch of the Shanghai Museum from now until Aug 17.
A 45-minute immersive exploration allows visitors to learn about the Pyramid of Khufu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In addition to getting up close to understand the internal structure and historical context of the pyramid and exploring some mysterious areas never opened to the public, visitors can also experience the thrill of climbing to the top of the pyramid and overlooking the panoramic view of the Giza Plateau, travel back to the 4th Dynasty 4,500 years ago and sail on the Nile River in a solar boat, or participate in an ancient Egyptian ritual of sacrifice, witnessing the boundless, mysterious beauty and uncovering the enigmatic veil of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Mysterious Xixia Imperial Tombs
This exhibition combines fantasy with real history. The new history vlogger Miaomiao leads visitors to the location of the Xixia Imperial Tombs to travel through time to the Xixia Imperial Tombs and embark on an exploratory journey that takes about 25 minutes.

Monsieur Vincent
Monsieur Vincent is the first virtual reality project of the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. It is also the first project of this kind at the Museum of Art Pudong and the first global stop of the international tour of this project by the art museum. It is an interactive VR experience lasting about 20 minutes, inspired by Vincent van Gogh, a Dutch post-impressionist painter who is considered one of the greatest artists in history.
