Discover art rhapsody at the new REMIXX center
The newly opened REMIXX International Art Center, located at No 1686 Huqingping Highway in Qingpu district, is now welcoming visitors.
The center's debut is marked by its inaugural large-scale exhibition series, Art Rhapsody | REMIXX Shanghai Art Season, running until Oct 15.
Spanning approximately 8,000 square meters, REMIXX is a multidimensional art and commercial space that integrates art exhibitions, interactive experiences, and trendy retail. The debut art season features five parallel thematic exhibitions, offering visitors a diverse artistic journey.
The centerpiece exhibition, Masterpieces on Stamps – Unsent Light and Letters: A Paper Symphony of Monet, Van Gogh, and Impressionist Masters, transports visitors into an enchanting world where art and history converge.
Over 1,000 philatelic treasures from more than 50 countries and regions are displayed across 138 frames, with rare specimens such as steel die proofs and inverted die proofs shimmering under carefully designed lighting.
Another highlight, Born from Imagery – Rongbaozhai Contemporary Invitational Exhibition, presents works by nine active contemporary artists including Guo Donglai and Jiang Miao. Showcasing oil painting, ink art, printmaking, and sculpture, the exhibition explores the intricate relationship between form and meaning.
The art season also features the International Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition with works by global artists; the International Contemporary Trendy Art Group Exhibition & Limited Edition Collectibles Show, displaying cutting-edge art and designer toys; and pop artist Li Yuyu's immersive installation Li Yuyu · RICHFLOWER Pop-Up, inspired by traditional Chinese New Year blessings.
