Children's art exhibition celebrates global creativity
The Shanghai Art Collection Museum is hosting The 10th International Children's Creative Art Exhibition, which runs until Sept 12. This event delivers a rich variety of children's artwork, capturing their cherished childhood memories and future aspirations through mediums such as painting, calligraphy, photography, and installations.
Under the theme "Echoes of Childhood, Pathways to the Future", the exhibition features over 150 pieces selected from more than 20 countries and regions, including China, the United States, France, Canada, and Brazil.
The exhibition is organized into four sections, each highlighting how young artists express their unique perspectives and imaginations. Through the use of colors and lines, children document moments of growth and express their affection for family, friends, and nature. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and virtual reality are integrated into their works, offering a glimpse into their visions of future societies and the universe.
In conjunction with the exhibition, the 4th International (Shanghai) Children's Aesthetic Education Conference was held on July 25, bringing together experts from around the world to discuss the evolution of aesthetic education in the age of technological advancements.
