The Voyage of Qinghua, an immersive VR program that recreates historical scenes from the ancient Maritime Silk Road, is now open to the public.

The VR program, themed around qinghua (blue and white porcelain), invites visitors to embark on an evocative journey that revives the legendary voyages of Zheng He, a Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) explorer, and witness pivotal moments of cultural exchange between the East and the West.

The exhibition is the nation's first VR project to utilize 5G millimeter wave technology, delivering ultra-high-definition content output at 90 Mbps. Within the 400-square-meter exhibition space, it minimizes interference from fluctuations in public mobile networks, ensuring stable and seamless image output.

The project employs the same motion capture technology used in the hit video game Black Myth: Wukong to recreate the subtle movements of actors, infusing virtual characters with lifelike vitality.
