From Sept 13 to Oct 8, Dior presents Miss Dior Exhibition: Stories of a Miss at the Fosun Foundation in Shanghai. The exhibition creates a multi-dimensional dialogue between archives and contemporary artworks, reflecting the independent spirit and resilient femininity of Dior, while highlighting the house's enduring legacy of artistic expression.

The exhibition opens on the forecourt of the Foundation, and unfolds across each floor, offering an immersive journey into the world of Miss Dior: from the origins of the fragrance in the fields of Grasse to a destined encounter with art and fashion.

Visitors first enter the Ribbon room, where the history of perfume and its key figures are revealed through photographs, objects, and archival material from the heritage department of the House of Dior.

The experience continues in the indoor garden imagined by artist Eva Jospin. Its walls are adorned with her delicately embroidered frescoes, echoing a couture evening gown in white organza embroidered with chiffon reminiscent of a pointillist painting. In the Flower Room, the key notes of the perfume release their fragrance through an olfactory installation designed to immerse visitors in its mysterious essence, complemented by a sculptural floral dress.

The journey then passes through the vibrant Sixties room where the colorful, graphic decor revives the modern spirit of Dior's first ready-to-wear collection, Miss Dior, which embodied the couturier's dream to dress every woman.

Finally, an exceptional collection of haute couture converses with the works, reminding visitors of Christian Dior's close friendships with artists of the era. Inspired by the free spirit of Miss Dior, the works on display — spanning illustration, sculpture, painting and limited edition presentation cases — are created by some of the most talented women artists from across the globe.

Illustrations and watercolors by Rene Gruau and Mats Gustafson are presented alongside the works of six prominent Chinese artists: Ai Jing, Chen Ke, Liang Yanwei, Liu Shiyuan, Zhou Li and Daishi Luo. Their original creations — some on display for the very first time — are presented alongside works by Haruka Kojin from Japan, Ingrid Donat from France and Sabine Marcelis from the Netherlands.

On Sept 12, the opening night was marked by a stellar lineup of guests, including CEO of Parfums Christian Dior Véronique Courtois, Dior Perfume Creation Director Francis Kurkdjian, Chinese artists Ai Jing, Chen Ke, Liu Shiyuan, Luo Dashi, International Fashion and Beauty Ambassador Dilraba Dilmurat, Global Brand Ambassador Liu Yuxin, Dior Brand Ambassadors in China Zhou Ye, Li Yunrui, Dior Brand Friend in China Wang Yuwen, actor Chen Xingxu, actress Sun Anke and Ai Mi. They joined invited press representatives and leading influencers to celebrate the aesthetic world of Miss Dior. As night fell over the Huangpu River, the glowing "MISS DIOR" sign lit up the skyline, announcing the arrival of this extraordinary celebration of art, fragrance, and elegance.

The exhibition concludes with the Miss Dior Gift Shop where the Miss Dior fragrance collection is showcased alongside a selection of makeup creations, offering visitors a close encounter with the House's exceptional craftsmanship up close. Extending the experience, the Miss Dior Cafe serves desserts and beverages, prolonging the lingering resonance of the artistic journey through fragrance, fashion and art.
