The 13th ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, a key feature of the 24th China Shanghai International Arts Festival and the 7th Shanghai International Artwork Trade Week, will take place from Nov 13 to 16 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

Recognized as one of Asia's leading contemporary art fairs, this year's event hosts 139 galleries and projects from 22 countries and regions, representing 50 cities. Notably, 33 distinguished galleries, including Lisson Gallery and Grimm, will make their debut at the fair.

Structured into five thematic sections — Main Galleries, Approach, Detour, Beyond, and Special Project — the fair welcomes back leading international galleries such as Almine Rech, Galerie Chantal Crousel, and Mennour. They are joined by influential local names, including A Thousand Plateaus Art Space, Antenna Space, and Vanguard Gallery, each presenting high-caliber exhibitions.

The fair also shines a spotlight on emerging galleries and experimental art projects, underscoring the dynamic interplay between contemporary art and global cultures. With participation extending to auction houses, non-profit institutions, and artist studios, the fair promises a layered and engaging aesthetic journey.
