Founded in Daikanyama, Japan, Tsutaya Books is a renowned bookstore that creates multifunctional cultural spaces centred on books. With over 30 years of history, the bookstore is deemed one of the "20 Most Beautiful Bookstores in the World" and boasts a global presence with over 1,400 branches.

Tsutaya Books made its phenomenal debut in Shanghai at the historic site of the Columbia Club, a former social hub for overseas Chinese. This unique location seamlessly blends Shanghai's century-old history with a modern bookstore design, creating a 2,000-square-meter cultural hub that preserves architectural beauty and continues the historical narrative.

With a museum-like ambience, the bookstore focuses on urban renewal and cultural heritage. The renowned bookstore brand has opened its third branch in Shanghai's Jing'an MOHO, inspired by the city's iconic Shikumen architecture. The blue-red brick exterior reflects the vibrant local culture.
