Lin-Gang Special Area to showcase global companies at 7th CIIE
The Lin-Gang Special Area will present a host of global companies that are located there at the upcoming 7th China International Import Expo or CIIE, being held in the Shanghai on Nov 5-10.
The companies – representing a spectrum of industries from various countries and regions – are set to display the latest in innovative technologies and products, signaling the emergence of new productive forces in the global market.
In a news briefing held on Oct 24 at the headquarters of Caohejing Hi-Tech Park, Yang Jing, chief financial officer of the Lingang Group, outlined the strategic importance of the CIIE as a platform for fostering the growth of international companies located within the area's industrial parks.
Emphasizing the significance of expanding networks and operations, Yang highlighted the group's commitment to leveraging the expo to forge potential collaborations with companies beyond the Chinese mainland.
As part of its participation in the CIIE, the Lin-Gang Special Area has planned two major activities on Nov 7 aimed at facilitating international cooperation. These activities will focus on dialogues with State-owned enterprises and spotlight the bio-pharmaceuticals industry, providing a conducive environment for networking and partnership building.
The exhibition zone dedicated to the Lin-Gang Special Area – located at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) – spans an impressive 2,700 square meters and is designed to showcase the capabilities and innovations of 68 foreign companies hailing from 18 countries and regions.
Overall, the zone will be divided into four distinct parts – the main themed zone, an area dedicated to overseas partners, another for independent corporate display zones and an interactive experience area.
The main themed zone – subdivided into five sectors – aims to highlight cross-border services and the successful outcomes of international scientific and innovation cooperation. In particular, the group's overseas partners will bring associated enterprises to the CIIE, with a focus on small-to-medium-sized companies, fostering a spirit of collaboration and exchanges.
Throughout the expo, the core exhibition area will host 20 high-standard offline activities – involving investment promotions, contract signings and product launches – the Lingang Group said.
