Danish technology company Aquaporin made its debut at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) as they officially opened their booth to the public on Nov 6, showcasing their water purification solutions to the Chinese market.

Having entered China just last year with an office in Shanghai, Aquaporin has its booth situated in the newly established new materials sector of the intelligent industry and information technology pavilion. The company's presence at the expo marks a significant step in their efforts to expand their footprint in China and introduce their innovative technologies to a wider audience.

During the opening ceremony, Danish Ambassador to China Michael Starbaek Christensen paid a visit to Aquaporin's booth and commended the company for their commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. He highlighted Denmark's reputation as a green nation and praised Aquaporin for their state-of-the-art solutions in the field of water purification.

"Aquaporin and their solutions are exemplary of Denmark's ambitions and commitment to environmental stewardship. Their cutting-edge technologies are paving the way for sustainable water purification practices," said the ambassador.

Aquaporin Global CEO Matt Boczkowski expressed the company's interest in seeking collaborative partners for innovation and engaging with key decision-makers in China's membrane purchasing sector. He emphasized the importance of the CIIE as a platform to engage with industry stakeholders and explore opportunities for scaling up their operations in the Chinese market.

One of the highlights of Aquaporin's showcase at the CIIE was the global debut of their second-generation protein membrane, which boasts high filtration efficiency and enhanced environmental performance. This advanced membrane technology has versatile applications, ranging from household water purification to the treatment of industrial wastewater and municipal water systems.
