​As the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) approaches, Cotecna Group is preparing for its seventh appearance at this prestigious event in Shanghai.

Cotecna, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, offers inspection, testing, technical support, and digital solutions. Operating more than 100 laboratories across over 50 countries, the company delivers quality and quantity assessment services for sectors including agriculture, food, metals, minerals, and government trade.

In March this year, Cotecna's North Asia & China headquarters moved to a new office at the Chinese Overseas Center in the Zhenru Subcenter of Shanghai's Putuo district. This relocation highlights the group's strong confidence in the Chinese market and revitalizes its initiatives to grow its presence in the region.

Recognizing China's extensive potential and opportunities, Cotecna aims to boost its investment there. Over the past four years, it has emerged as the foreign company with the highest number of mergers and acquisitions in China's inspection, testing, and certification sector.

​During this year's CIIE, Cotecna will conduct multiple agreement signing events and experts' lectures to share insights into their solutions. The company will also launch its Remote Inspection Center (RIC), an innovative platform that facilitates "cross-regional, all-time, zero-contact" inspection supervision. This development represents a move from traditional on-site inspections to a "data-first, cloud-based" model, supporting industry growth and transformation.
