GE Aerospace showcases C919 engine model at CIIE 2025
GE Aerospace, a global leader in jet engines and integrated systems, appears at the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, marking its eighth consecutive time in the event.
This year, the company brings new exhibits that highlight innovation and green aviation. Among them are a half-scale LEAP-1C engine model — the heart of China's C919 airliner — and a mixed-reality interactive experience allowing visitors to virtually explore a LEAP engine. GE Aerospace will also host partnership signing ceremonies.
Its repeat participation in the CIIE and its regional headquarters based in Shanghai's Putuo district both underscore its strong commitment to China's civil aviation market.
Celebrating its 45th year in China, GE Aerospace and its joint venture CFM International serve more than 60 airlines nationwide, supporting over 7,800 engines in operation. The company continues to invest in increasing efficiency and sustainability in aviation.
At the 2024 CIIE, GE Aerospace showcased its "Revolutionary Innovation for Sustainable Engines" technology demonstrator and signed $2.2 billion in strategic agreements.
