The 8th China International Import Expo will be held from Nov 5 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

If you wish to visit the exhibition, please complete your registration and pay the admission certificate fee by 11:59 pm (Beijing Time) on Oct 20.

I. Registration channels

Mobile devices

• Open the official WeChat mini program of the CIIE.
• Select "Main" → "Individual Visitor Registration" → "Individual Visitor", fill in your personal information, and complete the payment.
• Once your information has been reviewed and approved, you will receive your admission certificate and become eligible to enter the 8th CIIE.
• You can check your certificate status anytime through the official WeChat mini program.

Desktop devices

• Visit the official website of the CIIE at www.ciie.org.
• Follow the path: "Business Exhibition" → "Become a Visitor"→ "Registration" → "Individual Visitor".
• Complete the online form, fill in your details, and make the payment.
• After passing the review and receiving your admission certificate, you may attend the expo.
• To check your certificate status, log in via "Become a Visitor" → "Sign In" → "Individual Visitor".

Reminder: All visitors must register online in advance. On-site registration for the 8th CIIE will not be available.

II. Certificate service fee

Dates open to individual visitors: Nov 8, 9, or 10. Choose one day during registration.

Fee: 50 yuan (about $7) per person per day

Payment methods:

• QR code payment supports UnionPay, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.
• International card payment (desktop only) supports Mastercard, Visa, JCB, Diners Club, and China UnionPay, as well as e-wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

III. FAQs

Q1: Who are the individual visitors?

A: Individual visitors mainly refer to individuals who have not joined a trade delegation or registered through an organization but have a strong desire to attend the CIIE.

The age requirement is 14 years old and above.

Q2: Can individual visitors naturally become eligible for admission by registration?

A: After individual visitors register and complete their payment, their personal information will be reviewed. Admission certificates will be produced and issued once the review is complete.

After obtaining their certificates, individual visitors may visit the exhibition hall in accordance with relevant regulations.

Q3: Can the personal information for admission be changed or modified after registration?

A: When registering, individual visitors need to fill in the personal information and complete the payment before entering the review process. The information can be modified before submission and before the registration deadline.

Once submitted, the information cannot be changed.

Q4: How can individual visitors who have passed information reviews get admission certificates?

A: All admission certificates for individual visitors will be issued via express delivery. Please provide an accurate delivery address that will remain valid for at least six months (addresses on the Chinese mainland only). There is no need to pay extra delivery fees.

After the certificates are sent, individual visitors can track the delivery through the official website or WeChat mini program of the CIIE.

Q5: Is there a limit on the number of individual visitors who can sign up for the exhibition?

A: Individual visitors can visit the exhibition on Nov 8, 9, or 10.

The number of spots is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled.

Q6: If an individual visitor has paid for a certificate but cannot participate in the expo, can the certificate be refunded? Or can someone else be admitted?

A: After payment, the review of personal information will commence.

If the review fails, individual visitors will be notified via SMS or email and instructed to log in to the official WeChat mini program ("Main" → "Individual Visitor Registration" → "Individual Visitor") or the official website ("Business Exhibition" → "Become a Visitor" → "Sign In" → "Individual Visitor" → "My Order") to process the refund.

If exchange rate fluctuations result in any exchange gain or loss during the refund, the individual visitor shall bear the difference.

Once the review is approved and certificate production begins, refunds or replacements cannot be processed.

Q7: How can an individual visitor get an invoice after paying for a certificate?

A: After payment, individual visitors can log in to the official WeChat mini program ("Main" → "Individual Visitor Registration" → "Individual Visitor") or the official website ("Business Exhibition" → "Become a Visitor" → "Sign In" → "Individual Visitor" → "My Order") and follow the instructions to apply for an invoice.

Visitors can apply for a VAT ordinary invoice (digitalized electronic ordinary invoice). If the review fails and a refund is required, the issued invoice must be canceled before the refund can be processed.
