Traffic control measures during CIIE
To ensure the smooth operation of the 8th China International Import Expo, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Public Security has implemented temporary traffic control measures on certain roads and areas.
From Nov 4 to 10, daily from 6 am to 9 pm, only official and public transportation vehicles are permitted to pass the area near the National Exhibition and Convention Center, namely the area enclosed by Huizhuo Road, Zhuguang Road, East Yinggang Road, Panxiu Road, Songze Avenue, Panzhen Road, Longlian Road, Laiqing Road, Songze Avenue and Laigang Road.
During the same period, from 8 am to 7 pm, non-motorized vehicles are prohibited from within the surrounding area of the NECC, namely the area enclosed by Songze Avenue, Panxiu Road, East Yinggang Road, and Laigang Road, excluding Panxiu Road, the north side of Songze Avenue, and East Yinggang Road (from Zhuguang Road to Panxiu Road); including the other mentioned roads.
From Nov 9 to 12, trucks are prohibited from traveling eastbound on West Zhulu Road between Mingzhu Road and the Huaxu Highway.
From Nov 1 to 10, daily from 5 am to 10 pm, trucks are prohibited from traveling in both directions on the G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway between the G15 Shenyang-Haikou Expressway and the S20 Outer Ring Expressway.
Additionally, from Nov 4 to 10, daily from 6 am to 9 pm, trucks and motorcycles are prohibited from the area enclosed by Huqingping Highway, Huaxu Highway, West Tianshan Road and Huaxiang Road.
From Oct 27 to Nov 10, inbound security inspections are conducted at eight expressway points entering Shanghai, namely the G2 Beijing–Shanghai, G15 Shenyang–Haikou, S26 Shanghai–Changzhou, G50 Shanghai–Chongqing, S32 Shanghai–Jiaxing–Huzhou, G60 Shanghai–Kunming, S36 Tingfeng, and G40 Shanghai–Shaanxi expressways. During this period, the Huiyuan West down-ramp on the G15 Expressway (toward Ningbo) are closed. Vehicles are required to follow police instructions and undergo security checks.
