CIIE dining guide for international visitors
Imagine this: You're at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The halls are bustling, and you're hungry, but the menus are only in Chinese. Don't worry. Here are two simple ways to order food with ease.
Option 1: Use the "EasyGo" app
"EasyGo" is now available as a standalone app. Download "EasyGo" from your app store to order food, hail a ride, and book attraction tickets directly. The app offers menu translation and supports English and other languages, making it easy for visitors to use without relying on Alipay.
Option 2: Ask the staff for help
Many restaurant staff at the CIIE venue speak English and are ready to assist you. More than 60 food outlets across the venue now cater to international visitors, accept overseas-issued bank cards, and offer menus in both Chinese and English.

More food options on site
Beyond the existing restaurants, the CIIE continues its "fixed outlets plus temporary catering" model, with 89 catering points across the venue, a peak lunch-hour capacity of 130,000 meals and 13,000 seats. The venue has set aside 2,000 square meters for the CIIE Gourmet Festival, featuring specialty snacks and global cuisines. A dedicated global cuisine tasting area, covering 1,500 square meters within the plaza, will also host live cooking shows by star chefs. The menu range has been further diversified, and value meal sets are offered at both fixed and temporary catering outlets.
Whether you order with the app or ask the staff for help, a tasty meal is just around the corner. Enjoy your dining experience at the ninth CIIE.
