The Art Space program of the 25th China Shanghai International Arts Festival opened on Oct 11, bringing more than 100 performances by artists from nearly 30 countries and regions to public spaces across Shanghai.

The opening performance, Station, by Spain's Voala Company, was staged at Fuxing Island Shipyard Park in Yangpu district. Performers danced high above the former shipyard, accompanied by live music and lighting effects.
