Explore Jinshan's countryside coffee shops
Shanghai's Jinshan district is home to a variety of hidden countryside coffee shops, each with its own twist: antique machines, wood-fired treats, seasonal specials, and herbal lattes.
Museo Coffee
At Shanyang Countryside, the cafe displays antique coffee machines from around the world and offers specialty drinks made with local farm produce, including sweet sorghum latte, sugarcane cold brew, rice coffee, kiwi latte, and cold brew.

Admission: A separate ticket to Shanyang Countryside is required.

Yulu Coffee
Renovated from a vacant old house in Weitong village, the cafe features a wood-fired oven. Fresh ingredients, slow-roasted over fruitwood, develop a distinctive aroma. The cafe pairs autumn flavors, such as an osmanthus latte and a salted plum and lemon sparkling Americano, with wood-fired fare.
Address: No 2035-2, Group 4, Weitong village, Jinshanwei town
Opening hours: 9 am to 9 pm
He Cafe
Set by a lake in Baijia village, the cafe offers seasonally rotating specials tied to the 24 solar terms, such as the popular citrus-flavored iced milk drink. Next door, He Bakery serves freshly baked treats, including an extra-long egg tart and highland barley ciabatta.
Address: No 1195-1, Gaoqiao Road, Baijia village, Zhangyan town
Opening hours: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Bingzhitang
The cafe sits beside two century-old ginkgo trees in Taiping village. One distinctive feature is an artificial intelligence device that assesses customers' traditional Chinese medicine body constitution, which staff use to recommend coffee. Options include drinks featuring coix seed, mulberry, polygonatum, ginger, and jujube, offering a take on "new-style Chinese wellness" for young people.
Address: No 2016, Taiping village, Lyuxiang town
