As early summer arrives and the countryside turns lush and vibrant, two travel routes in Baoshan offer the perfect escape from the city. Whether you are drawn to ancient architecture and rural charm or sweeping flower fields and forest adventures, these two itineraries promise a refreshing seasonal retreat.

Route 1

Day 1

Baoshan Temple → Yuanjing village → Meilan West Lake Park → Luonan night market → Yangliu Qingqing Homestay

Day 2

Hubao Orchard → Huahong village (rapeseed fields, rustic cafe) → Leihong Dendrobium Ecological Park

This two-day journey takes you from a Tang (618-907) style Buddhist temple to vast golden fields, a lively night market, and a tranquil countryside farm stay. On day two, the route continues through orchards, a cafe housed in a converted granary, and a distinctive herb garden before heading back.

1. Baoshan Temple

This late Tang-style complex is built entirely with wooden mortise-and-tenon joints. Red walls, dark tiles, and elegant gardens make it a great spot for photos with a classical Chinese feel.
