1. Shanghai International Cruise Tourism Resort

The Baoshan riverside has turned into a summer playground with the water festival running throughout the season at the Shanghai International Cruise Tourism Resort.

Highlights include:

• Water obstacle challenge: A 1,000-square-meter water park featuring 10 family-friendly obstacle courses. Monday through Thursday are reserved for families with children, while weekends host competitive races with prizes.
• Riverside lawn beer festival: As night falls, the Lighthouse Campsite comes alive with craft beer, live music, and open-air movies.

Gucun Park's summer lotus festival offers a refreshing cultural experience. More than 20 hectares of lotus ponds with 28 varieties are now in peak bloom. Some varieties will last through September.
