Qingpu has claimed the most newly certified 2026 five-star rural homestays in Shanghai, leading the city with four of the 12 top-tier recipients released by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism.

The four newly certified properties — located in water towns, lakeside industrial heritage sites, bamboo forests, and country parks — leverage Qingpu's unique aquatic ecosystems around Dianshan Lake, Yuandang Lake, and the region's water-town landscape.

Manshan Xiangyu No. 1 Huayuan Homestay (满山乡遇・壹号花院)

Renovated from traditional farmhouses with white walls and black tiles, the property features wooden lattice windows and bluestone alleys nestled among sprawling hydrangeas and rural waterways, offering a relaxed base for slow rural living and local private-kitchen dining.

Yuntu Dianshan Lake Atlas Homestay (云图・淀山湖)
