The Shanghai Poly Grand Theater recently introduced its Spring Performance Season with 27 shows and 41 performances, including musicals, dramas, dance performances and concerts.

The line-up includes the musical Smash the Wall, which will be staged from June 1 to June 2.

The drama Eugene Onegin, adapted from the masterpiece of Russian poet Aleksandr Pushkin (1799-1837), will have its first China stop in Shanghai from June 20 to June 23.

Another noteworthy production is the play 12 Angry Men, a thought-provoking performance that delves into the complexities of human nature.

Buying tickets using your phone:

Search for Shanghai Poly Grand Theater's official account "SHPGT2014" in WeChat.

Follow the WeChat account and click the "Services" button.

Click "在线购票", which means "Purchase tickets online".

Browse the page and purchase tickets for the shows you want to attend.

When you make your first purchase, you will need to bind your cell phone number and enter a verification code. Click "Allow" and bind your cell phone number and click "获取验证码" to get a verification code.

Click "选座购买" to select your seat and purchase tickets. At the bottom, choose your seat(s) and click "确认选座/确认" (Yes).

Enter your "姓名" (name), "手机号" (cell phone number) and "提交订单" to submit the order.

Payments must be completed within 15 minutes. You can choose "余额支付" (Pay by Balance), "微信支付" (Pay by WeChat), or "银联支付" (Pay by UnionPay).

You can click "我的" (My) and check the "全部订单" (All orders) to find your tickets.
