Shanghai set to rock as Broadway sensation returns
Broadway sensation School of Rock, adapted from the uproarious comedy film scored by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is returning to Shanghai from July 18 to Aug 4.

This award-winning smash musical follows the story of Dewey Finn, a failed rock star who seizes an opportunity to pose as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school, ultimately transforming a class of straight-A students into a powerhouse rock band, delivering sensational live performances each night with unparalleled energy.

Originally making waves on Broadway in New York City and subsequently captivating audiences in London's West End, School of Rock is set to make an enduring impact upon its return to the stage.
This year's production, operated by the Shanghai Musical Arts Center, will embark on a tour across four cities in China — Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Suzhou.
