The 2025 Dishui Lake New Year's Concert is set to take place at the Lingang Performing Arts Center in Shanghai on Dec 31, ushering in the new year with a spectacular musical celebration.

Renowned Chinese conductor Zhao Xiao'ou, leading the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, will work with pianist Kong Xiangdong to deliver a musical feast. The collaboration has prepared the audience with classical, heart-touching, and joyful numbers, such as Tritsch-Tratsch Polka, Champagner-Polka, and Yellow River Piano Concerto.

Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra originated from the Shanghai Film Orchestra, which was established in 1956. It has not only participated in the development of China's film music and radio arts but also played a vital role in promoting Chinese symphonic music.
