Majestic Theatre to stage Broadway and French classics
The Radiant Star Gala, a concert showcasing the brilliance of Broadway and French musical stars, is set to dazzle audiences at Shanghai's Majestic Theatre on Sept 16 and 17, delivering two evenings of musical spectacle.
The concert brings together five distinguished musical theater artists. Leading the ensemble is Brad Little, renowned for his 2,500 performances in The Phantom of the Opera. Joining him are Lexi Lawson, the second-generation lead of Hamilton; Grammy-nominated Brittney Mack from the original cast of Six; Philippe Berghella, an original cast member of Don Juan; and Laetitia Carrere, the current world tour lead of Don Juan.
The concert takes an innovative approach by presenting 25 iconic songs from 13 celebrated musicals. Audiences will be treated to Broadway and French classics such as On My Own from Les Miserables, Helpless from Hamilton, and Changer from Don Juan. The performers will bring over 20 beloved characters to life with their exceptional vocal prowess.
The gala transforms the conventional theater atmosphere into one of lively interaction and relaxation. Audiences are encouraged to clap and sing along, culminating in a joyous full-house chorus during the finale. Additionally, meet-and-greet and autograph sessions will offer fans a chance to connect more intimately with the performers.
