The Vienna Royal Symphony Orchestra will perform at the North Bund AIA Grand Theater in Shanghai on Jan 20, 2027.

The concert will feature conductor Cristiano De Agnoi, soprano Paulina Gocałek, who has won prizes at the International Vocal Competition "Viva Calisia" and the Jan Kiepura Competition, and violinist Gabriela Małachowska, a first-prize winner in multiple national and international competitions.

The orchestra has toured more than 60 countries across five continents. Its members have performed at international music festivals including the Salzburg Festival.

The concert will feature double woodwinds to create a fuller orchestral sound. Audiences will hear arias from Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, selections from Bizet's Carmen, Saint-Saens' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, and Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus Overture and Voices of Spring.
