Shanghai kicked off its inaugural Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season on July 6, featuring a series of high-profile events such as the On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt Exhibition, City Walk Pro: Experience Shanghai Now, and the First Shanghai International Cruise Festival.

In a bid to enhance the experience for international visitors flocking to the city during the consumption spree, the Shanghai branch of China Mobile, one of the largest telecommunications companies in China, has opened an outlet at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

Located near the international arrivals exit of T2, the facility offers a range of mobile communication services for inbound travelers. The offerings encompass an experience SIM card with one-day complimentary 3-gigabyte data and short-term SIM cards valid for 7, 15, and 30 days.

To ensure seamless communication without language barriers during their stay in Shanghai, China Mobile has introduced a plethora of services, including real-time translation service for phone calls, English-speaking customer support, and assistance with permanent residence card applications. Beyond communication services, the company provides various travel benefits covering public transportation, taxis, car rentals and parking.
