For the cancellation of registration of production and operational activities of foreign (regional) enterprises, the following documents are to be prepared and submitted:

Application Materials

1. Application form for registration (filing) of foreign (regional) enterprises engaging in business operation in the Chinese mainland (mandatory);

2. Approval of relevant authority related to the cancellation (mandatory);

3. Tax clearance certificate (mandatory);

4. Liquidation report (non-mandatory);

5. Return the original and duplicate copies of the business license if a paper version has been issued (mandatory).

Application Procedure

1. Submission of complete and legally formatted documents:

(1) The registration authority confirms and completes the deregistration on the spot.

(2) If immediate deregistration is not possible, the registration authority completes the deregistration within three working days. In cases of a complex situation, with approval from the person in charge at the registration authority, an additional three working days can be granted.

2. Incomplete or improperly formatted documents:

The registration authority informs the applicant of the materials requiring correction.
