The 2024 Global Developer Conference will be held on March 23 to 24 in Shanghai, the city's AI Industry Association (SAIA) announced on March 19.

Originated from the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) which has been developed into an influential platform for AI cooperation and exchange, GDC is an important section of WAIC which focuses on gathering technology and talents of AI industry.

Held in Xuhui riverside and Caohejing area, the 2024 GDC will hold five seminars on frontier technology, over 10 seminars of parallel technology as well as 20 activities. The event will offer 10,000 square meters of exhibition area for interactive events and communications.
