The Shanghai Longines Global Champions Tour will be held from May 3 to 5 at the brand-new Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
As the highest-level equestrian obstacle competition under the International Equestrian Federation, the Global Champions Tour is one of the most influential equestrian events on the Chinese mainland.
The competition venue, which has over 5,000 seats, is the first permanent venue on the Chinese mainland that meets the standards of international top equestrian events.
During the Longines Grand Prix on May 5, riders and their horses need to jump an obstacle height of 1.6 meters, making it the highlight of the tour. According to the organizing committee, only about a hundred horses worldwide can jump such height.
Ticket prices start at 100 yuan ($13.82) and are available on the Juss Sports app as well as its WeChat and Alipay applets. The event also provides family packs and night tickets for first-timers.
