Continuing a decade-long tradition, the Shanghai Jinshan City Beach International Music and Fireworks Show dazzled spectators during the recent May Day holiday, with a vibrant display of fireworks lighting up the sky along a kilometer-long embankment.
For years, the beach in Shanghai's suburban Jinshan district has been renowned for its exceptional conditions for fireworks displays, treating visitors to a mesmerizing "symphony of lights" each year.
This year's event featured two main showcases. On May 2, the spotlight was on China and Belgium, while on May 4, the performances centered around Brazil and Malaysia.
The Chinese segment seamlessly integrated enchanting music and fireworks inspired by the ancient Silk Road, allowing them to relive the mysteries of this historic trade route that connected East and West.
In contrast, the Belgian showcase revolved around the theme of heroes, incorporating grand background music and majestic compositions that seemed to narrate tales of heroism, from their birth and trials to their heroic feats and enduring legacy.
The Malaysian segment, presented in the form of a tourism spectacle, transported the audience to the scenic wonders of East Malaysia. Through a captivating blend of music and fireworks, attendees were immersed in the warmth of Malaysian hospitality, feeling as though they were wandering through lush forests, breathing in the fresh air amidst verdant landscapes, and experiencing the magical allure of nature.
Lastly, the Brazilian showcase saw fireworks dancing to the rhythm of samba music, enveloping the audience in a world of South American charm. Viewers were treated to the fiery passion of Brazil, the enigmatic Amazon, the romantic allure of Rio de Janeiro, and the vibrant energy of Brazilian football, creating a sensory experience that captured the essence of Brazil's rich cultural tapestry.
