The 2024 Shanghai International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine, and Healthcare, known as China Aid 2024, is all set to take place from June 13 to 15 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Established in 2000, this year's edition promises to be the largest and most comprehensive yet, featuring a diverse array of offerings in the realm of senior care, rehabilitation, and healthcare.

With over 450 domestic and international brands participating, the expo will spotlight innovations across six key categories: senior care services, assistive devices, rehabilitation medicine, daily living aids, health management, and age-friendly architecture. Encompassing a vast area of approximately 46,000 square meters, the event is expected to scale new heights in terms of showcasing cutting-edge solutions and services.

A major attraction at the expo is the Silver Life Festival, located in Hall W2, where more than 40 vendors will present products and services tailored for senior citizens. This includes clothing, food, housing, transportation, and entertainment. The festival will feature live streaming promotions, as well as a special Green Appliance Trade-In initiative that enables attendees to exchange old appliances for newer, senior-friendly models.

To cater to the needs of visitors seeking respite or guidance for elderly attendees, a dedicated China Aid themed community service station will make its debut in Hall W3. Managed by the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, this facility will provide complimentary beverages and age-friendly seating arrangements. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with navigation and information, while doctors from municipal elderly hospitals will offer health consultations. Various care packages will also be accessible to address immediate needs.

Moreover, the expo will host the 2024 Shanghai International Senior Care Services Industry Summit Forum, under the theme "New Landscape of the Silver Economy: Innovation and Technology Empowerment". The forum will delve into critical topics such as senior meal services, health services, age-friendly renovations, talent development, emerging consumption trends in the silver economy, institutional operations, and smart elderly care.

To ensure inclusivity, the expo will feature complimentary wheelchair rental zones. The event is open to the public at no cost and is conveniently located near Exit 1 of Huamu Road Station on Metro Line 7.

Interested individuals can pre-register by scanning the QR code to access the mini-program. On-site registration will also be available with a valid ID card, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
