The ticket sales for the 2024 Shanghai Masters snooker competition officially kicked off on June 17 via the Juss Sports' app and its official WeChat account.

As a part of the World Snooker Tour, the Shanghai Masters will run from June 17 to Aug 21 at the Shanghai Stadium. It was first held in 2007 and has since become a popular sports event among fans and snooker players.

The competition was originally a ranking event, which then became an invitational event in 2018. This year, the competition still utilizes a 24-person competition system, and all the top 16 ranked players in the world are set to compete in the event, including Shanghai Masters' reigning champion Ronnie O'Sullivan, 2024 World Snooker Champion Kyren Wilson, and currently World No. 1 Mark Allen.

From the Chinese side, accomplished snooker players like Ding Junhui and Zhang Anda, rising stars like Si Jiahui and Zhou Yuelong, as well as four wild card players will challenge the masters and showcase their skills on the international stage.
