2024 Shanghai international cosmetic carnival showcases top brands and exclusive events

The 2024 Shanghai International Cosmetic Carnival was launched at the MOHO shopping mall in Jing'an district on Wednesday, featuring over 40 renowned international and domestic cosmetic brands. This coincides with the kickoff of the first Shanghai International Consumption Season - Shanghai Summer on July 6.
The carnival brings together prestigious brands such as L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, Sisley, as well as prominent domestic brands including Pechoin, Uniskin and Perfect Diary. From August to October, attendees can enjoy a series of events, limited edition sales, and discounts.

L'Oréal plans to immerse visitors in a cultural atmosphere through activities such as new product launches, and cultural exhibitions, along with unveiling limited edition new products during major festivals. Dior is set to host a Miss Dior's flash mob at Zhang's Garden from August 10 to 11.
Valentino's first independent offline boutique beauty store in China promises a diverse and personalized experience for customers. Sisley has inaugurated the Asia-Pacific region's premier flagship store combining retail, beauty services and a coffee dining concept at Zhang's Garden. Additionally, Pechoin will engage in online and offline activities, and L'Occitane will introduce its "A Well Being Summer with Almond" new product line on August 5.

Throughout the carnival, major shopping malls and esteemed brands will blend themes like the Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day) to present various promotional activities.
Jing'an district has successfully hosted the cosmetic carnival for six consecutive years. Xia Lin, deputy director of the Jing'an District Commission of Commerce, said: "By curating iconic events, we deliver a lavish beauty experience to consumers locally and globally, enabling them to enjoy shopping pleasures while also benefiting from more practicality and discounts, injecting strong momentum into the city's cosmetics consumption market."
