The 17th Pujiang Innovation Forum 2024 will take place in Shanghai from Sept 7 to 10.

The forum will address the creation of an open and fair environment for global scientific and technological innovation.

Discussions will include how innovation can drive high-quality development, foster future-oriented industries, advance institutional reforms, and enhance AI cooperation and governance to benefit humanity.

This year's event will include a main forum, 24 sub-forums, two exhibitions (the InnoMatch Expo and Global Entrepreneurial Investment Conference), three special dialogues and various associated activities, and innovation competitions.

In addition to the annual conference, ongoing conference season events will focus on think tank developments, academic discussions, industrial leadership, and the commercialization of achievements.

The forum will gather global government leaders, academics, business elites, and tech industry giants to discuss how to steer scientific and technological innovation toward a more open, inclusive, and cooperative future – sharing the benefits of global innovation and contributing to the common well-being of humanity.

The forum is being hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the municipal government of Shanghai.
