The 2024 Suzhou Creek Forum, an annual event hosted by the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Putuo District Committee, will take place on Oct 22, as announced by the district's political advisory body on Oct 14 during a promotion salon for the event.

This year, the forum's discussions will focus on consummating the district's scientific and technological innovation layout and expanding its role in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, said the event's organizer.

During the promotion salon, the Putuo District Science and Technology Committee revealed the district's key research projects in 2024, highlighting the importance of developing collaborative innovation ecology.
