The China International Travel Mart 2024 concluded on Nov 24 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, having drawn more than 1,000 international exhibitors from over 80 countries and regions.

The three-day event, spanning 53,000 square meters, featured six distinct zones dedicated to showcasing domestic and international culture and tourism, as well as convenience measures and services for travelers.

The fair facilitated over 600 offline trade negotiations, underscoring its significance as a major platform for the international travel and tourism industry.

In addition to these negotiations, the event featured a series of promotional activities focused on policies for inbound travel and showcasing diverse regions from across the country.

Twenty-seven exhibitors from Shanghai occupied a total of 540 square meters, representing various sectors including government bureaus, travel agencies, tourist attractions, and hotels.

A themed zone on Shanghai's medical services made its debut, with more than 20 hospitals on site to highlight the city's advanced healthcare offerings.

The design of the Shanghai booth was inspired by the historic Wukang Building, a reminder that Shanghai is about more than just its skyscrapers and the night view at the Bund.

The booth also showcased Shanghai-style intangible cultural heritage, offering visitors a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of the city.
