The excitement is building for the 2025 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, and you can be a part of the action! The 2025 Checkered Flag Carnival, a week-long celebration of racing and all things automotive, is now open for reservations.
This year's Checkered Flag Carnival, held from March 16 to 23, will coincide with the 2025 Shanghai Auto Culture Festival, which will run from March 21 to April 25.
The carnival will be held at two locations in Shanghai: the North Bund International Cruise Terminal and the Shanghai International Circuit, with the latter also being the official venue for the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix.
Whether you're a dedicated F1 fan or simply looking for a fun weekend outing, the Checkered Flag Carnival has something for everyone.
North Bund: A celebration beyond F1

The North Bund location will be transformed into a vibrant F1 experience. You'll find a 600-meter-long F1-themed waterfront and a massive 12,000 square meter event zone. The festival will feature numerous interactive activities.

You'll see a car exhibition honoring the F1 Chinese Grand Prix, showcasing iconic vehicles from Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz, and more.
Meet Zhou Guanyu

One of the biggest highlights of the festival will be the opportunity to meet Zhou Guanyu, China's first F1 driver. On March 18, Zhou will be at the festival for a special meet-and-greet, giving fans a chance to interact with him and learn about his journey in the world of racing.
Music, food, and fun

The festival will be packed with entertainment options. Multiple music stages will host live performances featuring a variety of genres, from electronic music to rock and pop. A diverse selection of food vendors will be on hand to keep your energy levels up.
