Registration for the 12th World Grand Wushu Festival Shanghai, which is scheduled to be held from Sept 18 to 23 in Shanghai, has opened.

Martial art practitioners worldwide are invited to participate in the event by registering on the festival's official website, http://www.shwushuexpo.com. Registration will remain open until Aug 18.

Established in 1992, the festival has evolved into a premier global platform for the exchange of wushu, or Chinese martial arts.

Over the years, the event has drawn participants from more than 30 countries and regions, bringing together a diverse array of martial artists and enthusiasts.
