This charity exhibition presents 80 Dunhuang-themed paintings by 33 students from a school in Wenxian county, Gansu province. Using locally sourced materials such as mountain soil, the students reinterpret imagery from the Dunhuang grottoes, including flying apsaras, the nine-colored deer, and the thousand Buddhas.
