The Shanghai Spring International Music Festival is the longest-standing music festival in China, making its debut in May 1960.

For over 60 years, numerous iconic music and dance performances have originated from the festival’s stage, reaching audiences both nationally and globally. Many composers, musicians, and dancers have also emerged from this festival.
The Shanghai Spring International Music Festival opens on April 28 and concludes on May 18 every year. Over approximately three weeks, it presents a magnificent feast of music and dance culture to the residents of Shanghai and guests from around the world.
The festival creates a vibrant atmosphere, establishing Shanghai as a hub for music and dance culture.
