As Lantern Festival falls on Feb 12 this year, Shanghai Romance Park is preparing a feast for visitors with intangible cultural heritage, dazzling fireworks and classic performances.

As an essential part of Lantern Festival celebrations, watching lantern displays and solving riddles will take center stage. The park will showcase a variety of lanterns adorned with intricate riddles, and those who successfully solve the riddles will have the chance to win a gold ingot-shaped piece of candy.

In addition to lanterns and riddles, the art of Chinese paper cutting will be prominently featured. This traditional craft will not only decorate the lanterns but also be creatively incorporated into various accessories.

The event will also offer people the opportunity to experience the charm of intangible cultural heritage items such as woodblock printing, sugar blowing, dough figurine making, sugar painting, and lantern crafting.
