2025 Shanghai Cruise Culture and Tourism Festival set to kick off

The 2025 Shanghai Cruise Culture and Tourism Festival will raise its curtain at Baoshan Riverside on April 30, as announced by the Baoshan district information office.
Running until May 20, the festival will offer a variety of exciting activities, positioning the area as the first stop for inbound tourists to China, with special themed routes and cross-border projects related to cruise culture.

Activities include a drone and fireworks show at Wusongkou at 8 pm on April 30, inspired by the classic animation The Monkey King: Uproar in Heaven, and music concerts combining traditional and youthful elements, set to be held from May 1 to 5 at the Wusong Paotaiwan National Wetland Park.
Key events include the unveiling of the Homeport Route Upgrade Plan, showcasing upgraded routes by international cruise companies and highlighting Baoshan's business model.
Visitors have the chance to enjoy the "Cruise around Wusongkou" aerial route via helicopter at the cruise port overlooking the river confluence.
Cruise Theme Day will allow major cruise companies to showcase their latest products, enabling visitors to explore special locations at Baoshan Riverside.
The festival will also focus on "Cruise+" consumption, expanding onshore value-added services for a seamless experience with just one cruise ticket.
Notable events include the opening of the "Baoshan Gifts" store at the Shanghai Changtan Observation Tower on April 30, featuring cultural and creative products integrating Baoshan's historical context, cruise culture, and riverside charm.

Other activities include the Shanghai Block Car Life Festival, the G.&S. Mery Bird Festival, and the Wusongkou Entertainment Properties Package, providing sunrise viewing and fireworks watching experiences.
Mid-May will witness the 5th Shanghai Cruise Port International Regatta, with top sailing teams competing in the waters of the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port.
Additionally, the 2025 Family Marathon Shanghai on May 11 is set to promote sports, education, and parent-child interaction.
