The 2025 Heart of Chorus Shanghai International Choral Festival & Competition will take place in Songjiang district from May 29 to June 2. This musical event will unite top choral groups from countries and regions such as Bulgaria, Russia, Romania, Sweden, Israel, South Africa, Hungary, and Serbia, fostering an international cultural exchange.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for May 29 at the Yunjian Theatre. International ensembles will collaborate with local Songjiang art groups to deliver a spectacular dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures through music.

From May 30 to June 2, the music competitions will be in full swing across various categories. Choral groups will demonstrate the diverse allure of choral art through their distinct musical styles and performance techniques.

The closing ceremony will be held in the afternoon of June 2, where champions from each category will vie, on the Yunjian Theatre stage, for the grand championship title.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies and competitions, this five-day musical celebration features a variety of performances, classes taught by experts, a choral carnival, and a special session for Children's Day, offering audiences an unparalleled musical experience.
