The 2025 Chongming Rural Culture and Tourism Festival is set to kick off on Sept 26 and will run through Nov 30.

Spanning more than two months, this festival will encompass the three islands of Chongming district, offering a comprehensive showcase of the region's ecological beauty, rural life, and rich cultural heritage.

• Water light show: Experience the enchanting stories of Chongming brought to life on the Nanhengyin River, where state-of-the-art projection technology creates a spectacular feast for the eyes and ears.
