The Long Beach Art Festival is set to deliver a vibrant array of festive activities during the National Day period. Come to Baoshan for an extraordinary artistic encounter!

1. Music concerts

Where: Baoshan riverside

During the National Day holiday, daily music concerts will enliven the riverside in Baoshan. The performances will blend a variety of musical styles with innovative presentation formats, offering an immersive auditory experience by the water's edge.

2. Graffiti exhibition

When: Oct 2-8

Where: Baoshan riverside

As a centerpiece of the festival, this event will transform the embankment into a kilometer-long open-air gallery, showcasing works from artists and student representatives citywide. Additionally, over 20 market stalls will feature Baoshan's local intangible cultural heritage, trendy cultural creations, creative foods, and distinctive art installations.

3. Shanghai Tourism Festival float parade

When: Evening of Sept 27

Where: Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal → Baoyang Road → Mudanjiang Road → Mohe Road → Tongji Road → Yixian Road Overpass (approximately 4 kilometers)

The Baoshan section of the 2025 Shanghai Tourism Festival float parade will take place on the evening of Sept 27. The Baoshan-themed float will join over 20 others, showcasing the region's charm and bringing festive spirit to residents and visitors alike.

4. City tour

When: Sept 30 & Oct 5

Where: Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Arts Exposition, the Bund, and more

Participants of the F1H2O World Championship, attendees of the annual meeting of the Union Internationale Motonautique, and international guests are invited to explore the local folk art achievement exhibition at the Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Arts Exposition. This tour will provide a comprehensive view of Shanghai's unique features, from Jiangnan culture to the Haipai (Shanghai) style culture.

5. Baoshan culture exhibition

When: Oct 7-12

Where: Cordis Hotel

During the F1H2O committee annual meeting, a Baoshan culture-themed exhibition will be unveiled at the Cordis Hotel, featuring Baoshan intangible cultural heritage artifacts and interactive workshops. Attendees can experience the unique charm of local culture and art firsthand.

6. Intangible cultural heritage series activities

When: Oct 2-8

Where: One Step Garden at the Long Beach Tower

Coinciding with the National Day holiday, a series of activities, including intangible cultural heritage markets and traditional craft aesthetic education experiences, are planned. These events will connect cultural and tourism landmarks along the riverside, integrating intangible cultural heritage skills into contemporary life scenarios.

7. Culture and tourism pass

When: Sept 28

Online sales and limited-time promotional activities for the upgraded Baoshan Culture and Tourism Pass will start on Sept 28, available for purchase through the "文旅宝山" official account (search for "shwhbs" in WeChat).
