2026 Shanghai International Flower Show unveils 5 scenic spots in Putuo district
The 2026 Shanghai International Flower Show is scheduled to take place from April 18 to May 10, showcasing the beauty of spring across five special venues in the Putuo district, including public green spaces, parks and commercial areas.
At the intersection of Daduhe Road and Wuning Road — a major gateway for vehicles entering Shanghai from the Beijing-Shanghai and Shanghai-Nanjing expressways — two flowerbeds are set to feature creek-inspired floral designs with red and pink tones accented by blue, orange and purple blooms.
TOP Central Park is set to present a "spring garden" theme, with flower patterns forming the festival's mascot on its lawn. A newly built water curtain fountain, set to debut in early May, is poised to add a sparkling touch to the sea of flowers.
Along the Suzhou Creek, the design of Suzhou Creek Half Marathon Park No 2 draws inspiration from traditional Chinese porcelain patterns featuring carp swimming among lotus flowers. Changfeng Park is set to highlight roses, with its rose garden entering peak bloom during the festival.
At Hong Shou Fang, a flower market is expected to offer rare blooms, plant-themed crafts and floral drinks, accompanied by nature-inspired concerts and flower arrangement workshops.
