As a key event of the Shanghai Tourism Festival, this annual beer festival showcases German cuisine, live music, cultural exchanges, and giveaways. Visitors can join guests from around the world to experience the energy and hospitality of late summer in the city.

Highlights

The event venue will be transformed into a large tent featuring traditional German-style decor, complete with blue-and-white checkered flags and festive lighting. This year's live band will play a mix of Bavarian tunes and Chinese pop, blending cultures through music.

The festival will serve Weihenstephan beer, the official beer of Oktoberfest, brewed since 1040 using only water, malt, hops, and yeast. The beer is known for its delicate foam, crisp malt aroma, and distinctive notes of clove and banana, offering a refreshing and smooth taste.

Beyond music and beer, the buffet will feature classic German dishes such as crispy roast pork knuckle with mustard sauce, Munich-style white sausages, meatloaf, smoked pork loin, and cold cuts. Chinese stir-fry dishes and appetizers will also be available to accommodate diverse tastes.
